
HOW DOES BODY pH AFFECT CANCER?
It has been said that cancer (and all other disease) cannot thrive in a body that is slightly alkaline, and that an acidic body is the perfect breeding ground for cancer and all other dis-ease of the body.
To remove acidity from your body, as you may guess, you must provide it with less acidic and toxic exposure and more alkaline exposure. This involves everything in your life. What you put on your body, what you put in your body, sleep, stress, exercise, and what you breathe in all affect pH levels in your body.
Things to consider removing or limiting from your environment are things that have toxic ingredients in them that produce acidity in the body, such as parabens, aluminum, sulfates, artificial fragrance, and fluoride. You will find one or several of these ingredients in almost all commercial room fresheners, colognes, lotions, deodorants, shampoo, facial cleansers, toothpaste, cosmetics, and laundry detergent. Use natural or homemade versions of these products that do not have these ingredients.
Consider limiting or eliminating consumption of foods that are acid forming to the body, such as these: soda, sugar, brown sugar, artificial sweeteners, table salt, all processed foods, fruit juice (sweetened), canned fruit, cow's milk products (including cheese and yogurt), beef, pork, chicken, deli meat, bacon, and flour. This is not an exhaustive list, but it gives you a good idea of what foods are acid forming to the body.
Consider increasing consumption of foods that are alkaline forming to the body, such as these: all green leafy vegetables, green vegetables, olive oil, coconut oil, herbs and spices, sea salt, pure maple syrup, pure rice syrup, beans of all kinds, nuts, seeds, lemons, limes, garlic, onions, peppers, cucumbers, sweet potatoes, squash, tea (green, herbal, or ginger), fresh fruits (like grapefruit, apples, grapes, kiwi fruit, pears, blackberries, raspberries, and melons), raisins, fermented foods like sauerkraut, fresh vegetable juice, and fresh fruit juice. This list is not exhaustive but it gives you an idea of what foods are alkaline forming to the body. (Shoot for a alkaline/acid promoting diet ratio of approximately 80/20.)
Get enough sleep and exercise, sunlight (and/or supplement with vitamin D-3), fresh air, drink about a quart daily of fresh water without chemicals like fluoride or chlorine, and manage your stress levels.
